Crisis Response Training & Certification

CRI training offers a broad set of skills training to meet the various physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of people in crisis and disaster. Our goal is to train and mobilize “every-day” people, who have a heart of compassion and are willing to go respond in the power of the Holy Spirit.
CRI is recognized as a relief organization at local, national and international levels by governing bodies, which gives us a unique ability “get behind the lines” during times of disaster.
WE NEED YOU! However, due to liabilities, continuity of mission and the safety of volunteers and victims; Crisis Response International only deploys volunteers who have completed our responder training and background check.

Start by attending a Disaster Relief Seminar or complete Course 1 online to become a certified volunteer (Responder) with CRI.

Upon completion of basic training, graduates will receive a CRI badge, hard hat, responder shirt, certificate of completion, level sticker and background check.
As a Certified CRI Responder, you are eligible to deploy to disasters and crisis situations with us around the world. When you get deployed by CRI, you are covered under our general liability insurance as a volunteer. Additional trip insurance may be required when traveling abroad. We also offer a variety of basic and advanced training both live and on our online academy. Learn more about CRI Online Academy. Typical training advancement after a Disaster Relief Seminar or Course 1 online (same content) would like like taking Course 2 online, attending an Advanced Training Summit (ATS) or an ARC School.
Responders are credentialed by a level system based on attendance at live and online training as well as deployment experience. After completion of Course 1 or a Disaster Relief Seminar you will become a Level 1 Responder. Read more on the Responder Level System.
