Haggai 1:7 “Thus says the Lord of hosts: Consider your ways. Go up to the hills and bring wood and build the house, that I may take pleasure in it and that I may be glorified, says the Lord.”

I had a dream recently where CRI was given the bricks from a demolished building. The bricks were historic and were of great value and of high regard to the Lord. The bricks were handed to us from the special needs kids that are part of the program next to the new CRI base (the sellers of the camp). It was elements of the structure that once “was” but that would now be repurposed for a new work.

I was so honored to receive the bricks from these precious kids. I felt responsible to make sure CRI builds with reverence and honor for what was done here in the past but that it would be entirely different.

Paul said it like this in 1 Corinthians 3:10, “By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.”

CRI has a non-negotiable mandate to keep Christ at the very center of all we do and the new mission base. That’s why we want every trainee and responder who steps on this property to encounter God’s love and power. We want to create an atmosphere charged with the presence of God and ignite responders to burn for Jesus Christ. It’s why we are making H.O.P.E. FIRST!

Days after I had this dream, a partner stepped forward and committed to match every dollar we raise for H.O.P.E. (House of Prayer & Encounter) up to $17,000.

With this matching gift, we have the opportunity to raise a total of $34,000 and pay for all the materials needed to renovate H.O.P.E.

Our deadline is May 11th!

We need partners like yourself to sow into this incredible opportunity. Help us spread the glory of God across the face of the earth. Isaiah prophesied that the whole earth would be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God. Let’s start with the CRI camp and every disaster ridden town and city!

Until the whole world hears,

Sean Malone
