 Volunteer / Responder Deployment Info

WE NEED YOU! However, due to liabilities, continuity of mission and the safety of volunteers and victims; Crisis Response International only deploys volunteers who have completed our responder training. If you want to assist with Hurricane Irma Relief Efforts, you can get trained now on CRI Online Academy. (see below)

Trained responders will be fed and housed on site and will be sent out daily with relief teams.

Volunteers will aid in the following:

  • Distribution of relief items
  • Food preparation & distribution
  • Cleaning and removing debris from homes & yards
  • Tarping roofs
  • Crisis Ministry & Disaster Relief Chaplaincy

Southwest Florida International Airport – Ft. Myers is the closest airport  to base camp and transportation to and from is available upon request.

The registration cost is $50.00 and will help cover your food, housing, admin, and insurance. This helps CRI from using designated disaster relief donations for volunteer expenses. Thanks for understanding.

Once you complete the application, you will be sent an email with further details and location of the base camp. However, you will need to bring your own sleeping bag, air mattress or cot, work boots, gloves, mask or respirator and hygiene items.

If you have not been trained yet, we are offering a discounted scholarship on CRI Academy for Course 1, Rapid Responder Certification Course. This course will give you all the skills to effectively respond to disasters and crisis, familiarize you with our mission and certify you with our organization.

Or learn how to host a video seminar at your church to get your whole church trained and certified.
