A door has opened to deploy our 2nd Wave to Dominica.
On September 18th, Category 5 storm Hurricane Maria slammed the island nation of Dominica. CRI was able to deploy a 6 Responder Team for Wave 1 on January 24th for a two day sail aboard the 53 foot Anni Bea True to Dominica.
The mission is to bring relief, rebuild, minister to local believers and have as much fun as we can. CRI Responders will be staying with a local family. We are putting together a team quickly, space is limited and time is short.
Must have a completed and updated RLS Profile with CRI badge with current responder level. (Includes background check) Click here for RLS Profile.
Must have valid passport six months beyond return date of the trip.
One small backpack allowed on board per person. Must bring closed-toe shoes, work gloves, sunscreen, travel towel, bathing suit, flipflops, toiletries, medications, hat, sunglasses. Responders must have and wear CRI shirts on daily on deployment (one comes with registration).
Must be flexible, remain teachable, have a good sense of humor and know how to swim 🙂
The cost of the trip is $2699 and covers your round-trip airfare, meals, lodging, ground transport, fees and one CRI Responder shirt. Limited spots available. First come first serve basis. The trip deposit of $1000.00 must be paid by 10 am, Monday, April 16th. The trip balance of $1699 must be paid by 10 am Tuesday, May 1st.
